Each class set up a mini business. They chose a product and used a variety of advertising techniques. P1/2 made “wildflower Chuck-it bombs”, P3/4 made “Jungle bites”, P5/6 made “obleek-slime” and P7 made “mighty chocolates”.
The children set up their stalls with their products and sold them to their friends. The children will be allowed to spend any profit as a class for something special to use in their classroom.
It is hoped that this financial week has developed skills of coin recognition, how to save money, how to budget, what a business is and what hard work it is to earn money!
