At Gorran Primary School, we believe that pupil voice is powerful. Our School Council plays a vital role in making sure that every child feels heard, valued, and involved in shaping school life.

Our vibrant School Council is made up of elected representatives from P2 to P7, chosen by their classmates. These young leaders meet regularly to share ideas, raise concerns, and work together to make Gorran PS the best it can be—for everyone.

• 👫 Organising buddy trips to help younger pupils feel supported and included
• 💰 Applying for grants to fund exciting projects like the Nature Nook
• 🧸 Allocating resources to areas pupils care about most
• ❤️ Running charity days to support local and global causes

They were also instrumental in designing and fundraising for our Nature Nook, a beautiful outdoor learning space that benefits the whole school.
